HAPPY BLOGMAS DAY 10 EVERYONE!
Today is a super exciting post, and also an incredibly delicious one. I was thinking of making mince pies but I've seen so many mince pie recipes I wanted to make something different.
If you have been following this Blog for a while you will know how obsessed I am with stars, so I came up with the idea of making STAR SHAPED MINCE PIE POPS.

THE RECIPE:
YOU WILL NEED:
1 PACKET JUST ROLL PASTRY
MINCE PIE FILLING
STAR CUTTERS
FESTIVE STRAWS
ICING SUGAR
METHOD
CUT OUT THE STAR SHAPES.ADD A TSP OF FILLING INTO THE CENTER OF HALF THE STARS.
PUT THE PLAIN STARS ON TOP .
PRESS DOWN THE EDGES USING A FORK OR KNIFE.
MAKE A HOLE IN EACH ONE FOR THE STRAW.
BAKE FOR 12-15 MINUTES.
PUT THE STRAWS IN THE HOLE YOU MADE, BEFORE THEY COOL DOWN.
ONCE COOLED SPRINKLE WITH ICING SUGAR AND ENJOY!

These are the cutest things I’ve ever seen! I’ve never been too sure about mince pies but I think it depends on the mince pie, don’t really like shop bought ones but fresh homemade ones are a lot yummier. These are such a cool idea! x

DeleteI love your recipe posts! They're always so good and easy to make. I don't think I've ever actually had a mince pie (gasp) so I might have to have a mince pie pop this year!

DeleteOh my god these look amazing!! I'm not a mince pie fan but I'd absolutely love to recreate these with maybe a chocolate spread filling with cinnamon on or something, would be so yummy! What a fab idea :)
