Autumnal Daze

These pieces are all so in style this autumn. Checks are coming back in, in a BIG way. These trousers show them off at their best, as the cigarette style makes its way back onto the high-street scene.
Layering knitwear is also huge trend for autumn/winter and layering a turtle neck with a jumper over the top is a key way to wear this, and keep warm.
I've also picked out knee high boots, which I'm currently loving with dresses. I know when the weather gets colder Ill be pairing them with trousers.

Just because its fall doesnt mean all light colors need to be excluded from our wardrobes. A common pitfall at this time of year is to exclude all pastels and colours from our closets as we replace them with blacks and browns. I'm a huge fan of the monochrome trend but I still feel theres a place for colour at this time of year. I've picked out this gorgeous purple body suit and light straight jeans paired with cut out boots to keep colour and style in this piece.

Dare to be Different 

TopShop is a great high-street shop to find dupe for high end pieces. This twist on a leather skirt is so on trend with its lace up sides. Likewise pointed shoes are in and these go the extra mile bringing in the fluffy texture, although I'm not sure how practical these are! I picked out the pink sued jacket as its a staple and a colorful and chic twist on the classic black leather.
